However, there are few who deals with conceptual relationship between two of them. The particular study adopts an approach that is qualitative in nature that helps in exploring innovation presence in the process and actions of entrepreneurship and innovation as well. The literature review will be done on a dairy company named Bulla Dairy Foods wherein in depth interviews were conducted with the senior managers of the respective organization as well. In this particular study, it can be analyzed that both entrepreneurship and innovation has huge role in the generation of innovative strategies of the organizations as they are complementary in nature and they need the support of one another as to generate fruitful results in the future as well. Material and Methods The conceptual framework between the innovation as well as entrepreneurship has been properly discussed in the literature for few years. According to Soriano and Huarng (2013), innovation is the process through which the firms master and gets into proper practice of designing of the different products along with process of manufacturing that are new in nature for the firms. As Anderson, Poto?nik and Zhou (2014) have properly observed that innovation is a process that includes three elements such as infrastructure, capital along with entrepreneurial capacity that will help in making them work. Furthermore, the innovation has to address the needs of the market with proper help of entrepreneurship, as this will help in achieving success. According to Galindo and Mndez (2014), innovation is complex processes wherein the needs are not properly recognized along with the core competences become the rigidity. Innovation can face barrier that is related to the information network that is closed and insulated from the different new ideas. Wright (2014) considers that the entrepreneurship is the activity that requires proper innovative ideas as well as strategies that will require introduction of new product or process that will help in generating process of destruction. Furthermore, innovation is the process wherein it helps in initiating as well as implementing innovative strategies as well (West and Bogers 2014). It is the duty of the entrepreneurs to consider the uncertainty and adopt proper decisions as well. The profits that are generated are the rewards that are taken by entrepreneurs as they take uncertainties. According to Lisetchi and Brancu(2014), both productive as well as non-productive entrepreneurs has to be considered. From the viewpoint of Kerr (2013), the entrepreneurs are creative as well as ingenious in nature that searches for the most effective as well as appropriate means that will help them in increasing the wealth, prestige as well as power. The environment that is existing n nature is another important influence on the decision of the entrepreneurs (Autio et al. 2014). It is interesting in nature to take into account the perspective of (Kuratko 2016). Kuratko(2016) commented that innovation is the process that is in the heart of the activities of entrepreneurship and innovation is the main reason that helps the entrepreneurs to carry out the different activities. Perceptions of innovation and entrepreneurship helped in summarizing the responses that has been obtained from interviews. The analysis is based on the articles that help in revealing practical, empirical as well as theoretical approaches and contributions. The interview questions were asked to the managers of different departments in Bulla Dairy Foods Company and the different articles are presented in the Appendix. Firstly, the business model concept was studied in the last few decades as this has been discusses in the introduction section but the different concepts have fairly new kind of meaning in the respective company. The respective company needs to adopt strategies in order to introduce a new product or service along with different strategies in the business. The findings from the present study help in understanding the concept of entrepreneurship paradigm that is supported by Chetty et al. (2014), along with the concept of entrepreneurship and innovation that did not exist previously (Chesbrough, Vanhaverbeke and West 2014). Similarly, innovation is the next proposition that has been considered with the help of studies. Innovation is considered as the process that is permanent in nature in Bulla Dairy Foods Company, Melbourne. Innovation is the process that is not limited to the stage of creation; it is the process that will continue will be pursued as well. Furthermore, regardless of the industry and size, Bulla Dairy Food Company has to engage in process of incremental innovation. However, there is a contradiction in the view of Etzkowitz and Zhou (2017), he suggested that there is strong correlation between potentiality of innovation as well as creation of the companies that are new in nature. The small ventures help in producing innovations as well as bring proper innovation to the respective market quickly than the other companies as well. The continuous innovation pursuit has underpinned the growth of the respective company lean towards the entrepreneurial attitude of innovation. In the particular perspective, the entrepreneurship activities help in taking up different opportunities and create opportunities as well (Chatterji, Glaeser and Kerr 2014). There are different elements regarding the structure of themanagement along with the hierarchy of the organizations as well with proper affect of innovation as well. All the companies in Melbourne were particularly engaged into different kind of activities wherein different resources are allocated in order to share similar strategic vision with respect to both entrepreneurship as well as innovation in the organizations. Furthermore, the companies shared an open attitude towards the new ventures as well as ideas that will help them in creating proper innovativeness in the process of entrepreneurship in the different organizations. The different findings have similar ideas as well as concepts to the ones of Galindo and Mndez (2014), who helped in exploring accurate and proper relationships among the size as well as the implementation of technology in the organization as well as the culture of the organization as well with the proper survey of more than 30 Australian dairy companies. It was also seen that there are different common areas of technological implementation between the small as large businesses and even between non-hierarchical as well hierarchical organizations. Conceptual Framework: Interaction between entrepreneurship as well as innovation Over the last few decades, entrepreneurship has received proper establishment in the legitimate field of the managerial as well as research practice. However, due to abundant increase in the literature, there is no unanimous definition of both innovation as well as entrepreneurship in a community and such concept is even used often loosely (Galindo and Mndez 2014). In fact, entrepreneurship is the multidimensional reality wherein the reality is difficult to identify. Innovation is the process that involves human agency wherein opportunities are provided to the individuals to pursue the objectives, as there are many researches on entrepreneurship that focuses on cognitive aspects only wherein the individuals entrepreneurs helps in recognizing the different opportunities for the creation of proper business (Qian 2013). Similarly, there are different ventures that are initiated in established corporations, a proper as well as large segment of the research focuses on corporate entrepreneurship (Dentchev et al. 2016). Galindo and Mndez (2014) commented that established corporations helps in focusing broadly on the concept of entrepreneurship that includes activities related to corporate innovation as well. Furthermore, it can also be argued that value intention is the essential block of building that helps in development of the sustainable innovation in the model of the business in the entire food sector. The companies in the food or dairy industry have various accurate as well as unique characteristics wherein the owners that the organizations are going to survive for indefinite future and this will help in proper growth as well as increase in the revenues of the organization as well. Conclusions and Implications Therefore, the empirical study helped in exploring different synergies between the innovation as well as entrepreneurship through a proper review of the literature in the field and proper interviews were conducted in this particular field as well with 10 entrepreneurial as well as innovative organizations in Australia. As innovation as well as entrepreneurship is the behaviors that are systematic in nature, proper as well as systematic efforts are necessary in nature into the different operations of the organizations that has to be performed by them. Innovation as well as entrepreneurship is regarded as the ongoing process as well as the everyday practice of the different organizations. The particular paper has even helped in enlightening the attitude of innovation of the different dairy food companies in Melbourne as well. It is also apparent in nature that the issues that are based on culture or the cultural issues has to be properly ascertained and addressed when proper examination is done on the levels of innovation as well as entrepreneurship. If you didn't get the grades you were hoping for, Clearing is the best way to find a place on a university course. Clearing is the process used by universities to fill up any vacancies on their courses; after all, the universities are just as keen to get bums on seats as you are to find a suitable degree course. The Clearing process is also a useful opportunity for students to find a spot on a similar course to the one they originally applied for, or to find a course at an entirely different university. In 2015, over 64,300 students found a place at university via Clearing; this equates to one in eight of all university acceptances! ¹Ã‚  No longer regarded as an option for underachieving students, Clearing is now a valuable method by which to find a university and course that you'll be happy with for the next three years. There are several criteria that determine whether or not you are eligible to enter the Clearing process: You haven't achieved the required grades: This is the most common reason why students enter Clearing. Most universities offer a provisional place on a course based on your achieving certain grades. The university may consider accepting you if you just missed out on the desired grades, so call them first, and if they won't accept you then you can enter the Clearing process. You change your mind about your original choices: Even if you have achieved the required grades to be accepted onto your firm and/or insurance course choices, you can still turn your back on those choices and enter into Clearing to apply to a different uni or course. You applied before June 30th but don't have any offers: If you applied to universities before the closing date but haven't received any offers then you are eligible to enter the Clearing process. You applied to universities after June 30th: If you applied for courses after the deadline you will automatically be placed into Clearing after results day. Return to Contents How can I prepare for clearing? If you already know that you'll be entering the Clearing process... Clearing opens up on results day, so spend some time prior to that researching the universities and courses that appeal to you. Many universities publish information regarding vacancies a couple of weeks before results day, and they're open to you contacting them and stating your interest before you receive your results. As part of your pre-Clearing research it can be extremely helpful to check what the entry requirements are for any course you are considering applying for. Be realistic about the grades you expect to achieve; it's important to note that just because a course is available to you via Clearing, doesn't mean the university will have lowered the entry requirements. ​ . If you weren't expecting to be going through Clearing... If you were confident that you had achieved the grades you needed to get accepted by your firm or insurance choice, it can come as a bit of a shock to find out that you didn't make the grade. Some students can let the stress of the situation lead them into making a panicked decision and ending up on the wrong course. Being entered into Clearing doesn't mean you have failed, so wipe those negative thoughts from your head and focus your energy on finding a suitable course and location. In most cases it is easier to decide what you don't want to do, and narrow down your choices from there. For example if you don't want to compromise on the location, you'll need to compromise on the course, and vice versa. This process will leave you with a much smaller list of courses and universities that you are interested in, and will be less likely to lead to a rash decision. Return to Contents How do I enter Clearing? Visit the UCAS website to start or track an application. If you have already filled in and submitted your application, you'll be able to track it by clicking on the link. If you've been automatically entered into Clearing your Track status will say ‘You are in Clearing' or ‘Clearing has started'. If Track doesn't display either of these messages yet it might just be waiting for your results to come through before it updates itself. If it seems to be taking a while to update, UCAS advise students to contact the universities as they may still be considering you, even if your results aren't quite what were required. If you are entering Clearing without having previously applied through UCAS, you will still need to complete an application and personal statement; the only difference is you won't be able to select any course choices at the application stage. You will still need to pay the relevant application fee too, which is currently  £23 for multiple course applications. If you have simply changed you mind about your initial firm or insurance university and wish to enter Clearing instead, you'll need to contact the university and ask them to release you so that you can enter the Clearing system. Without your individual Clearing number you won't be able to apply for any other courses, so it's important to make sure they release you promptly. There are several ways in which you can search for vacancies once you've entered Clearing: Search online using The Telegraph's course search tool Search online using the UCAS course search tool Use The Telegraph's Clearing App for iPhone Use The Telegraph's Clearing App for Android Once you've found a course that you're interested in, the first thing you must do is to contact the university directly BEFORE entering the course in Track! If you enter a course in Track before the university has accepted you, they might reject your application, and you won't be able to apply for anything else until they reject and release you back into Clearing. You won't be able to add a choice to Track until 5pm on results day for this very reason, so use the time leading up to 5pm to phone universities and find a suitable course that is willing to accept you. Choosing the right university and course for you is not something that you should rush into, so if you're panicking after getting your results, seek some advice from the following sources: Friends, family, and teachers: Before you leave the school after getting your results, take some time to speak to some of the teachers and see what advice they are able to offer you. They go through this each year with A Level students so they know the drill! It's also a good idea to speak to your parents and any older siblings, cousins, friends etc who have gone through the process before you. Likewise, chat with your fellow A Level students on results day and find out what their thought processes are, and see what you can learn from them. UCAS: The entire university application process, including Clearing, is organised by UCAS, so if you're looking for advice on anything to do with Clearing, they are the best people to speak to. There are a variety of ways to contact UCAS so find the best one for you and get in touch with the experts. Learn Direct: They offer useful careers advice which can help you to identify your strengths and help you to choose a course based on the type of career that you have in mind. BBC: The BBC's website is a hub of useful information for students; visit their ‘Is uni for you?' page for advice and articles that can help you to decide whether university is really the right path for you to take. The Student Room: This is a useful website and forum for students to seek and share advice, and talk to other students who are, or have been, in the same situation. There are a number of other options that might be more suitable for you instead, including: Adjustment: This is an option for students who have met and exceeded their firm offer, but no longer wish to accept their first choice university. It means you can hold onto your firm choice whilst looking around for a better offer. Record of Prior Acceptance – AKA Direct Entry: This tends to be the preferred method of mature students who either want to study locally, or are applying late but have a clear idea of what they want to study. Applications are made direct to the university rather than via UCAS; however, not all institutions will let you apply in this way. Taking a gap year: You have the right to withdraw your application at any time before you start university, and can take a year out from education and re-apply for entry on a course the following year. If you have any doubts as to where you want to go, or what you want to study then take this year to have a good think about how whether university is for you, and if so, which one. Tuition fees are not cheap, so don't squander that money away on a course that won't enhance your life in any way! Re-sit your A Levels: If you didn't get the grades you needed to get into university you could ask to re-sit them and reapply for courses for the year after. Importance of Maintaining Academic Honesty Free Online Research Papers Abstract In reading and researching the topic of academic honesty and integrity I have found that there are varying views on what is considered cheating, and that cheating occurs in all academic levels and fields of study. Interestingly business students do not believe that cheating is as serious as students in other fields. I also found that there are many parties that are responsible for teaching students why academic honesty and integrity are so important. The key to teaching this important value is to start when children enter the educational system and for higher education learning institutions to continue the expectation and education of honesty and integrity. Importance of Maintaining Academic Honesty An important factor when looking at academic honesty is its reflection of the person. Honesty and integrity help define who you are. They outline what kind of person you will be. What kind of employee you will be and what kind of contributions you will make to society. These are two character traits whose lines are crossed or blurred so that one can quickly or easily reach goals that have been set. Although people claim to be honest or have high integrity, they will cross the boundary when it comes to self preservation or furthering their career or education. According to Klein, Levenburg, McKendall, and Mothersell (2007), â€Å"In a study of employed MBA students, Sims (1993) found a high degree of correlation between cheating in school and unethical behaviors at work.†(p.197) society pushes people to be the best of the best, no matter what the cost. Everyone is trying to outdo those around them, whether it’s the best grade on a paper, getting a job promotion, even having the biggest house on the block. Everyone wants to be number one. Even children in elementary school are feeling extreme pressure to succeed. This push to be the best has changed how people really view honesty and integrity. I don’t think students today have the same values regarding academic honesty as perhaps their grandparents did when they were students. If you steal something from someone, they become a victim. If you cheat off of a peers paper, who is the victim? It is assumed that there is no victim. I believe it is this assumption that there is no victim, along with the need to succeed at all costs, that has caused an increase in the amount of students that cheat or attempt to cheat and the feeling that it is not that really a big deal. According to Staats, Hupp, Hagley (2008) â€Å"the experience or anticipation of guilty feelings is a deterrent to misconduct.†(p.359). And yet cheating and plagiarizing continues in academic settings. Many students take online classes and visit chat rooms to discuss and collaborate on assignments. Students need to be careful that they are only using their thoughts and input and not those of the group. It seems students do not think that cheating is really dishonest. And peers that cheat are not thought of any less than peers that do not cheat. We are told in school not to copy our neighbor’s paper, to do our own work and be proud of what we’ve done. This seems to go by the way side the older we get. At the college level the pressure to succeed is more so. Society however, gives too many opportunities for cheating and short cuts. Anyone can go online and buy a term paper, book report, or any other information that might be needed. This sends conflicting messages to students, young and old. Don’t cheat, but if you have to, here is any easy way to do it. All you need is money. No wonder many students don’t think much of copying an answer or two from their neighbor, can’t be too wrong if you can legally buy a term paper and turn it in as your own.Guilt about any misdeed comes directly from the person themselves. Each student has their own belief system. This comes from their family. The values and beliefs they were taught as a child. One has to wonder if religious students are less likely to cheat than non-religious students. Religion based colleges and universities have a Code of Conduct that students are expected to adhere to. They are required to take religion classes. Maybe they have better moral values than students at secular universities and colleges. So a key question regarding academic honesty and integrity is, whose job is it to teach honesty and integrity in an academic setting? Hall and Kuth (1998) suggest that â€Å"an academic honor code will not have the intended effect without the endorsement of and widespread support by the faculty.† (p.13). Research by Hall and Kuth (1998) also indicates it is the responsibility of the institution to â€Å"promote the importance of academic integrity, clearly articulate their academic integrity policies, disseminate these policies widely, discuss the policies frequently, and have systematic procedures in place for addressing related issues (McCabe Trevino, 1993).† (p.13) I do not believe it is the colleges and universities alone that need to teach honesty and integrity. They need to implement courses and policies and codes. They need to expect students to follow these codes and policies, and should have a clear cut system to make sure they are being abided by. The consequences of breaking these rules of honest conduct should be dealt with immediately and fairly. But teaching an important characteristic like honesty needs to start before one goes to college. Parents need to start when their children are young. They need to teach them the value of honesty and integrity. They need to place value on hard work and persistence. They need to accept them for who they are and what they can achieve without putting added pressure on them. Parents should teach children how to do things for themselves and take pride in what they accomplish. One of the worst things a parent can do is to do everything for a child, especially their homework. This will not teach them anything positive and in fact will hinder them in the future. In conclusion I find that I believe that ultimately academic honesty and integrity is the responsibility of the student. They must fight the urge for a quick fix, the easy way out, and take responsibility for themselves and their actions. And I also believe that there is a victim in cheating. The cheater. They have robbed themselves of the opportunity to truly learn and to better themselves. Life is not always easy, but cheating and dishonesty certainly will not make it easier in the end. However, its general format can be applied to electronic communications, and the hard-copy memo still has its place in businesses and other organizations, especially when providing context for a print publication or another physical object being distributed among a group of people. Here are guidelines about format and organization of a memo. The full form of memo, memorandum the equally acceptable plural forms are memoranda and memorandums means â€Å"to be remembered,† and though memos often serve as reminders, they may also introduce a resource or call attention to an event, a policy, or an issue. Memos are useful for informing or reminding multiple people about something. The only reason to circulate a printed memo rather than email the intended recipients, however, is to minimize the risk that sensitive information will be distributed outside that limited audience, though hard copy can also be leaked to or otherwise appropriated by outside parties. (In that case, it might be best to avoid documentation altogether and circulate the information in person or by telephone.) Therefore, as stated above, the following recommendations are best suited for electronic transmission or for cases in which a memo accompanies an object. Select the recipients carefully to avoid introducing inefficiency by being too inclusive or inviting resentment by deliberately or inadvertently excluding certain parties. If a superior has requested that you send the memo or will benefit from reading its contents (or simply from knowing that you sent it), be sure to include that person, but take care not to distribute it to upper management unless it is essential information for them; alternatively, you can leave it to your immediate supervisor to decide whether to pass the memo along to his or her superior(s). Keep in mind, too, the nature of the memo and the culture of the business or organization when determining the degree of formality with which you refer to people or how you write the memo in general. Format a memo with single line spaces, justified to the left margin, and use line spaces rather than indented first lines of paragraphs to distinguish small blocks of text. Use clear, concise, direct language, and employ headings and bullet or numbered lists to outline the main points. The first section, the header, should include four components: a â€Å"to† field with recipients’ names and job titles, a â€Å"from† field with the sender’s name and job title, the full date, and a short but specific subject line. Introduce the topic in the first paragraph by providing the memo’s purpose (for example, to explain the reason for distributing a printed document), the context of the topic (the importance to the recipients and the company or organization of the document), and the expected outcome (the recipients should read the document and perhaps be prepared to discuss it at an upcoming meeting). In the sentences (or brief paragraphs) that follow, expand on the context and the task, then elaborate on any points before summarizing the topic and closing with a comment about any follow-up action required or requested (such as asking for recommendations or other responses, or a reference to a scheduled meeting or other event). Headings should be specific (â€Å"Ethics Policy Recommendations,† rather than simply â€Å"Recommendations,† for example), and lists are best restricted to a few phrases or brief statements. Remember, too, that memos (like any other form of writing) should clearly convey the writer’s purpose and associate that purpose with the interests and/or needs of the recipient(s). Winstons shares Orwells frustration over the matter of the proletariat, Orwell felt that he could see the world letting its freedom slide into the hands of a select few, he knew that it could be stopped if only people could be convinced that they were losing their liberty. However he also felt that this decent into totalitarian control was inevitable and that the people of the world could never be persuaded to take a stand, we can see this through the words of OBrien when he is torturing Winston: The programme it sets forth is nonsense. The secret accumulation of knowledge a gradual spread of enlightenment- ultimately a proletarian rebellion- the overthrow of the Party It is all nonsense, the proletarians will never revolt, not in thousand years of a million. They cannot The rule of the party is forever, make that the starting-point for your thoughts. 18 Julia is of a similar caste to Winston, in that she represents the politicly active, however she is representative not of those who are benevolently crusading for justice and freedom, instead she represents those who rebel selfishly. She fights for her own good, for physical pleasure, not intellectual freedom as Winston does. Orwell uses her to illustrate another point: she does not require nearly so much reindoctrination at the conclusion of the novel, this is because she is not as true a political activist in Orwells mind. The point he is trying to show the reader through her existence is that those whose dissent is selfish are merely superficially seditious, and their political convictions are irrelevant. Again he shows us that those who stand alone cannot succeed against a totalitarian state. Through Julia and Winston as a pair Orwell demonises the state by showing that it destroys love. The last thing within Winston that is torn from him is his love of Julia, and it is at this point that he makes the change from Man to Shell. The last character OBrien in description seems calm, reasonable, manipulative and easy to talk to, he is glib and quick witted. He is Orwells representative of the Party, he is almost Satanic in the way that he converts and perverts those that try to battle wits with him, he is insidious in spreading the propaganda of the party and converting, then destroying those who rebel. Harbinger of pain and suffering, he is the penultimate evil and representative of all that Orwell hates. Orwell makes him out to be despicable, obviously he is psychopathic, without feeling or remorse, and his sense of morality is so twisted that it is barely recognisable as human sentiment, but Orwells technique goes further than this, he even describes him as physically ugly: There were pouches under the eyes, the skin sagged away from the cheekbones However the Authors purpose in creating OBrien is to primarily to allow him to explore the political message that he wants to write of in more detail. Whilst a generic and simplistic political message such as Totalitarian systems are bad is a relatively simple to encode into the plot of a text such as this, it is far more complex if the author wishes to discuss the specifics of politics. As Orwell was primarily an essayist he was not used to showing his beliefs in such a generalised way as a conventional political fiction would allow, so it was necessary to find a way to examine the political doctrine of a centralised economy in detail, but more than that it needed to be accessible to the average reader. It was with these needs in mind that Orwell devised OBriens role in the plot, it is his discussions with Winston over the party politics that Orwell uses to explore these concepts with the reader. When OBrien explains, it is Orwell who wants to show the reader something. For example Orwell uses OBrien to present his thesis that power is not a means, it is an end. Orwell took great pride in writing prose like a window-pane, he believed in a similar doctrine of writing to Gustave Flaubert, in that a writer should appear no more in his work than God does in nature. However where Flaubert was trying to write a realist novel, Orwells work is more naturalistic in its style. The descriptions are clipped and precise, and flowery language is not to be found within the pages of the novel. His dry, clipped style adds perfectly to the anguish he describes in his foretelling of the future. The book is primarily dominated by narrative, Orwell is only interested in Winstons conversations so far as they serve his political purpose, and outside the Ministry of Love, almost all of Winstons conversations are too censored to show any political belief whatsoever. Therefore Orwell is forced to focus his work on the thoughts of Winston to explore his political ideas. There are certain themes that Orwell uses to better portray the ideas that he wishes to explore. Primarily there is the theme of the destruction of love, Family love: between Winstons family, and between the Parsons family who live next door. Sexual love: between Julia and Winston. Platonic love: between friends. All these ideals the Party has destroyed. This is just a fairly simple way for Orwell to engender a hate for the Party in his reader, a hate which would enhance Orwells political message on the evils of totalitarianism. Other more subtle metaphors and literary methods that Orwell uses are: the glass paperweight is used to represent freedom from the Party. It is bought when Winston first begins to deviate from the Party doctrine, and it is finally smashed by the guard when Winston is captured. Here we see that the coral, like his freedom, was actually far smaller than it appeared within the glass. Through the same area of the book the Rhyme of St Clements is used by Orwell to establish a growing tension, and is symbolic of the inevitable end to Julia and Winstons affair. This happens because as one reads the text the reader doubtless remembers the full poem, knowing the final line Here comes a chopper to chop off your head, it is hard to relax as one sees its approach. This increase in tension serves Orwells political purpose he wishes to focus the reader on the helplessness before the Party that Winston and Julia are victim to, the feeling that their defeat is inevitable adds to this, and is furthered by Orwells use of the Rhyme. Above all Orwells literary methods serve to create a book that has stood as one of the greatest political writings of all time, these techniques have allowed Orwell to write a novel that is impossible to read without being changed forever. Merely skimming through the text for the sake of escapism, which surely was never Orwells purpose, it is inevitable that Orwells political beliefs will leave their mark on the reader. This novel has spawned a thousand fictions of its type, and many great works such as the novel A Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood or the film Brazil owe their lineage to the work of Orwell. More than this the ideas that his idea of language as explored in the book have influenced the English tongue forever, words such as Doublethink and Newspeak will go down in the dictionary for all time, as will an adjective that I think he would be proud of Orwellian. However the scope of influence of Nineteen Eighty-four goes beyond literature even beyond language, to the very subject on which he was commenting. Nineteen Eighty-four changed politics forever, Orwells warning, along with others of the time was indeed heeded, and humanity was diverted from a path that could easily have been as self-destructive as that described in the novel. Frank McCourts Angelas Ashes Frank McCourt’s Angela’s Ashes is a powerful and emotional memoir of his life from childhood through early adulthood. This book is a wonderfully inspired piece of work that emotionally attaches the reader through McCourt’s life experiences. Its effectiveness is primarily due to McCourt’s evolving ‘innocent-eye’ narrative technique. He allows the reader to experience his own life in a changeable form. Through this unique story telling technique, the reader is able to watch Frank grow and evolve. Between the ages of four, eleven and fourteen changes in his writing can be easily identified. It is evident that the written text, McCourt’s thoughts, and the resultant relationship with the reader evolve and become more complex during this part of his life. When describing his experiences at the age of four, McCourt's writing style is very much like a story told from a child’s perspective. He uses simple dialogue and a ‘tell it like it is’ approach: â€Å"We’re on the seesaw. Up, down, updown. Malachy goes up. I get off. Malachy goes down. Seesaw hits ground† (19). At this point, he demonstrated a basic, staccato-like sentence structure. McCourt presents information as if heard and interpreted by a child. On page38 Mrs. Leibowitz, a kind neighbour who lives in the same building as the McCourt family, says, â€Å"Nice Chewish name, have apiece of cake, eh? Why they give you a Chewish name, eh?† The reader knows that the word Jewish is spelled as it is heard and that this is typical of child interpretations. Just as simple dialogue is used throughout the book, so are simple pattern thoughts. Children have a tangible stream of consciousness and often have a tendency to change subject matter quickly throughout a conversation: â€Å"They have their tea†¦uncle Pa Keating, who is my uncle because he’s married to my aunt Aggie, picks up Eugene† (87). The reader already knows from previous information that Pa Keating is the children’s uncle. Just as children often incorporate needless information into a conversation, McCourt does the same in his writing. The reader acquires an image that a real conversation is taking place. Frank McCourt also shows the reader, through examples such as on page 16, that his thoughts as a child are quite simple. He tries to describe the anger he feels by stating â€Å"a blackness comes over me.† Because of his age, he... ...scriptive and has an involved sentence structure characteristic of a mature writer. His thoughts and his feelings are deeply profound. The relationship with the reader has changed extremely and is quite noticeable. In the beginning and parts of the middle of this book, the reader is ‘shown’, not described, a scenario where the result is often left to be interpreted. This is not so at the end of his memoir. Frank McCourt, instead of using a ‘show and tell’ narrative method, which applies in the beginning, is in a didactic mode where he explains everything in detail and there is nothing left for the reader to interpret. To conclude, there is an evolved Frank evidently noticed from the start through to the end. As Frank McCourt grows and develops into an adult, so too does his writing. The written text, thoughts and the relationship with the reader indeed evolves and becomes more complex as Frank matures. Examples taken from the ages of four, eleven and fourteen show these noticeable differences. Firstly the domain name that I will be using must be pronounceable, brandable, makes sense and also be available, if my domain name is effective in helping the business to grow, I will not sell it. An effective domain name is not easy to compose and sometimes obtain, from my experience I know that a great domain name creates a good impression online and makes you influence people and eventually they will buy your products if you are selling something, all of this I would have taken into consideration before I created a domain name, from my point of view I would not sell an effective domain name if I know it will give my business a boost. Alexander II and Reform

Alexander II was known as a reforming czar. Was he primarily a reformer? Alexander II executed many reforms during his time in power but did he reform for the sake of reforming? In the essay I will conclude whether or not Alexander had objectives in which reforming only partook as a secondary effect, and if so, what â€Å"was† he primarily? From a political point of view the landlords most likely opposed the peasant liberation reform in 1861 (Berghorn, 2009) which affected the Russian countryside. The landlords felt that they were being robbed of their property, the serfs. These were awarded full citizenship. (Lovett, 2003) This might have made Alexander II less willing to reform. However many of the serfs couldn’t leave the land they previously were bound to and so their freedom only existed legally as many remained, bound, to their landlords. (Lovett, 2003) This was as such a good solution to Alexander II as it inspired faith in some peasants that reforms were coming whilst sending a message to the landlords that their authority wasn’t threatened. From a military point of view Alexander had seen Russia take heavy casualties in the Crimean war and as he feared Europe’s more militarily advanced countries gaining influence he started in 1857 to execute the army and naval reforms. (Troyat, 1992) (Lovett, 2003) This should therefore have been a very appealing option to Alexander II as he could claim the reforms in his own name and at the same time preserve his power. From an economic point of view the Russian Empire was outdated. In order for Russia under Alexander II to play an important role as an economic power they had to industrialize. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Russia) The emancipation reform could certainly have been an attempt to as well as pleasing the serfs demanding freedom trigger a movement of urbanization and increased factory production. In that sense the emancipation reform could have served yet another cause of trying to westernize and making it seem like Alexander was a man trying to please his people. From an ideological point of view the theses of Alexander reforming secondarily is supported by the fact of some peasants and middle-class citizens adopting the socialist ideas of Karl Marx. This ideological standpoint was dangerous to Alexander II as it included an overthrow of the czar’s power. (Radzinskij, 2008) Contradicting the reasons to reform was the orthodox Christian church that could not agree to these reforms and had given him his power combined with his upbringing which had taught him to preserve royal power as a primary initiative. From a social point of view czar Alexander might have reformed as a reaction to his father’s harsh policies imposed on the people as this was arguably a reason the pressured situation had emerged. An example of this would be the educational reform. (Lovett, 2003) Alexander also introduced a judicial reform based in the French system which greatly simplified criminal matter and rendered the different parties involved in a judiciary process more equal. (Troyat, 1992) The latter reform should reasonably have upped Alexander standings with many groups and fulfilled the cause of making him seem like a reformer in order to soothe radical group such as the nihilists mentioned above.
